No machine has Stitch Functions. The machine may have straight, zigzag, blind hem, Mending and Buttonhole. these are stitches.
Functions are additional sewing jobs that a stitch can do. for example, Zig Zag can be used to Applique, Monogram, Satin Stitch, Button sew, Buttonhole, Bartack stitch, etc But it is still a zig zag!
